  To Management, the Kidney Transplant Dept. was great, I raved about Hahnemann Hospital being the best Transplant Hospital for High Risk Patients but in my opinion since Dr. Doyle have left the Dept, I will give it a 1 Starr. It's difficult reaching staff, I will say, Rocky and Christine are the only staff members who are attentive to consumers when they call to reach staff. Before Dr. Doyle left if a consumer had a question about changes in medications or ailments he would call you directly, now if you have a question a nurse will call you back and you have to relay your concerns to them and they relay your concerns to the doctor, who relays his answer back to the nurse and then the consumer. Maybe Dr. Doyle and other good competent Nurses who were good, saw the future of were Hahnemann, was heading and did not want to be apart this mess and had better opportunities awaiting them. In my opinion since Dr. Doyle left Hahnemann Transplant Department is like going the Department of Veterans Administration Hospital, obtaining less than Sub-Par services. I now see why Kidney Transplant Patients are leaving seeking treatments elsewhere. Hahnemann have lost it's niche in the Kidney Transplant Community, when you lose 2 Transplant Directors in 1 years that say's alot in my opinion. Especially when you get this one"Better Changes Are Coming"

  The experience I've gotten from the cafe here is very discriminating. I approached the counter and waited for the barista while she looked up at me and continue pretending to do other things. I came off by said "Hi how are you," which is expected to be a proper greeting is it not? She came off very rude and mean. I proceed to order and asked her if I can substitute regular for coconut milk and add white mocha to my coffee. She then questioned me "but it doesn't come with coconut milk or white mocha,". I'm sorry, I'm lactose intolerance and I can't substitute my milk of choice because she doesn't think so? She asked "you gonna tell me what size? ... I'm charging extra for the addition and substitution." (which I honestly don't mind since I asked). Before she proceed to make it I told her that I wanted it iced. "Then tell me ice" she replied. Isn't it a part of her job to ask the customer all of the details before she make it? Should I tell her how to do her job too? I don't think she understand the fact that people are here because their family members are sick, they may be waiting for a surgery to be over. The fact that I'm getting a coffee doesn't mean in here to hang around. I have a normal experience here every time I come, this is my first complain. I hope this hospital would take the time to read and improve this. It's not just a cup of coffee for me, it's how disrespectful and rude she was.
